WELCOME TO THE TONBRIDGE RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB WEBSITE
The Tonbridge Rifle and Pistol Club has been in existence since 1905, and over the years has become one of the leading clubs in the local area. We have had many successes, both locally and nationally, with members reaching County teams and even winning
medals in European Championships.
We have 7 members who have successfully completed the very stringent Range Conducting Course (RCO), run by the National Rifle Association, and the MLAGB, in conjunction with the Ministry of Defence, covering the safe running of ranges under many disciplines.
Because we are a Home Office Approved Club, we have various club firearms that may be used by any member, and ammunition that can be purchased, and kept, at the club at very reasonable prices.
The club is open on Wednesday and Friday
evenings from 6:30PM to approximately
9:30PM for Smallbore (.22) Prone Rifle,
Benchrest Target shooting (.22), Sporting
Rifle (.22 to .38) and Air Rifles & Pistols. We
also have an active Fullbore section, club
shoots at Bisley and other ranges and
several members who shoot Muzzle Loading/
Black Powder rifles and pistols.
We welcome new members and we operate a probationers training scheme in line with NRA and legal/police requirements.
A modest range fee of £2.00 for adults and £1 for juniors is charged per evening, and upon completion of the mandatory 6 months Probationary Period, and assuming the applicant is accepted as a full member by committee ballot, we have an Annual Subscription of £90 for adults and £40 for junior members.
